this two weeks have been really hectic but i really enjoyed myself.

last wednesday was off to hong kong!! if there wasn't the HR quiz, i would have followed my mum and flew off to HK last last friday. but nevertheless, the five days at HK was incredible. HK does indeed live up to its name of shopping and food paradise. it was five whole days of shopping, eating and MORE shopping.

it was my first time travelling alone on a plane and i must say it really is kinda fun. i explored the entire departure hall and checked out the prices of all the liquors that were selling at DFS. and its damn cheap la.its like 1/4 the price you see outside. told myself to definitely buy a few bottles back when i return home. and so when i arrived at HK, my mum was already waiting for me at the airport. took a citybus to my aunt's house to put our luggage and headed off to a nice cosy restaurant which served the best lamb shanks i've ever tasted. not bad for my first meal in HK.

the next day, aunt had to work so me and my mum took the train and headed down to CityGate. Over there, you can find any brand outlets like esprit, fcuk, nike, ralph lauren... where the clothes were selling at a cheaper price compared to the other shopping centres. and because it was the summer sale, discounts were at least 70%. now thats what i call shopping! afterwich we met my aunt at her workplace where we continued shopping at some warehouse where the clothes were even cheaper and nicer. dinner was at some korean restaurant at tsim sha tsui.

and on friday, my dad came to HK from guangzhou to stay with us for a few days. i miss my dad so much la. never see him for two months alr. so i was really happy to see him even if its for only three days. went to mongkok to shop. and i wanna recommend this shopping centre called 'Lian He Guang Chang'. its definitely a place to go if you're thinking of buying alott of clothes at really cheap prices. at night it was mid autumn dinner with my cousins at a chinese restaurant.

and for saturday and sunday, we continued shopping at mongkok, causeway bay and H&M. and i got to indulge in all the yummy food there, which includes mango ice dessert, egg tarts, pork chop rice, gong zai noodles, porridge (10 times better than singapore), dian xin, bird nest mooncake, haagen dazz mooncake... ((((: we've also caught 4bia at the cinema there. nice movie.

monday was our last day already. luckily we managed to squeeze everything we've bought into our lugguage and manage to convince the people at the counter to not charge us for the extra weight. i really enjoyed myself at HK and i so wanna go back again sometime again next year. anybody wanna go? i know how to get to all those shopping centres alr (:

what i got from the trip;
1 shoe
2 skirt
2 belts
2 pants
3 bags
3 cardigans
3 scarfs
4 dresses
10 tops

this sums up my entire HK trip (: too lazy to upload the photos so its just plain text.

and i shall continue updating the rest of the week some other time, which includes dinner and movie with cousins and the ultimate paintball match!!
