my 1st day of PA was only an orientation session. there were 16 other interns there together with me (there were only 3 from NTU. super pathetic right) anyway the HR staff was giving us a brief intro about the company's history, financial performance, organizational structure, mission, values...she also told us about the different acts and laws and what not. felt kinda sleepy during the talk, but i had to refrain from sleeping. not very nice to let them catch me sleeping. we even played games too, where we formed into groups and compete with the other groups.

made even more friends today! the other interns were very friendly. they were very funny pple too. pity most of us are in different departments, but i'm glad to have found a group of lunch partners alr ((:

i also met my supervisor. a very sweet woman though. anyway she was going through my job scope, and when she showed me my weekly task list, i was shocked. seriously, do other interns do as much as me?? i will be assisting her and her group in coming up with ideas for the new satellite branch concept (???). For the next few weeks, i will have to identify and scope target mass mkt consumers for the satellite branch, develop blueprint on the new concept and proposition to customers, identify branch financial drivers and develop specific branch goals...... OMG!! somebody please help me!! and at the last week, i have to freaking present the new concept to the heads. faintz. but at least one thing which i'm kinda looking forward is the site visits to the different UOB branches. its like doing some spot check kind of thing. cool! haha.

but no matter how much i'm complaining, i'm really glad to have gotten this job. i'm going to give my 101% during this internship program and gain as much knowledge and experience (: i know i can do it de. yup.
